They are growing on YouTube as well as Bollywood and the youth really seems to enjoy them. The videos are going viral and it is all the rage. It grew after they made a medley of the famous Nucleya’s album called Bass Rani. The group has eight members and is based in Mumbai. They are performing concerts and have grown fan following thousands if not millions. Their presence on YouTube is seen by their covers like Aaja Aaja, Aaj Kal tere Mere Pyaar Ke Charche and even a cover of Radioactive. They are growing strong and steady and will soon have the whole of India on their tunes. They are also said to release their original songs soon.
2. Vocal Rasta
This group has 15 members led by Antoine Redon. They are unique because even though they are new they set themselves apart with a different old vibe. The made a cover of Jeena Jeena which is just the tip of the iceberg of the talent of their group. Once you fall in love with this Acapella group there is no going back as they have many covers to their name and you will find yourself tuning in to hear every one of them.
3. Indian Acapella
This group delivers live music, DJ as well as beatboxers, rappers, and vocal loop harmonies. Their incredible voices are enough to get you on your toes. Performing both Bollywood and western music their band is available for performances both in India as well as internationally.
4. Raaga Trippin’
The group started in 2012 and worked on the film Mumbai Mirror. Their latest cover Dugg Duggi Dugg from Jugni is a feast at the group’s talent. They have a beautiful mashup of A R Rahman’s composition in combination with some members of Mozart of Madras. They have also done a cover on the famous All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor. Moreover, everyone in this group is a playback singer for Bollywood and regional movies in India.
This was the first band to combine beatbox and Acapella in India. The members include Avinash Tewari, Clyde Fernandes, Warsha Easwar, Arjun Nair and Raj Verma, Voctronica have secured songs with Sony Music and are now very famous. They released collaboration with AIB on classic Indian Ads which went viral putting them higher on the grid. This year they also did a medley of A R Rahman’s song which received a lot of appreciation. It is one of the most recognized A Cappella band in India as of today.
